At Baby's Breath Quilts' Handmade Quilt Gallery, you can see a selection of handmade quilts that I have made through the years. None of these quilts are for sale as some are charity quilts, donated through the Champlain Valley Quilter's Guild (CVQG), that will go on to hospitals and needy families in Vermont, and some quilts are ones I use in my home. The quilts are in a variety of styles and sizes (pictures are not to scale) including handmade baby quilts, lap quilts, twin, full, queen and king size quilts. Remember, Baby's Breath Quilts welcomes any
handmade custom quilt orders, so take a look at the different styles of handmade quilts and get ideas for your own quilts!
This lap quilt is one I have in my living room and is in a pattern called "Dresden Plate".
A quilted vest I made for my Grandmother, Barbara, using the Trip Around the World pattern.
A quilted vest I made using the Yellow Brick Road pattern.
A scrappy pinwheel lap quilt made of 28 different fabrics and was "claimed" by my husband for his recliner!
A rose patterned handmade baby quilt donated to the CVQG.
A balloon novelty print handmade baby quilt donated to the CVQG.
In the "Nanna's Garden" pattern, this is one of my first handmade baby quilts. This baby quilt is one of the few quilts I ever tied. I was still new to quiltmaking and did not fully understand how much more durable machine quilting is versus tied.
This wallhanging quilt is done in a watercolor technique. Each square block that makes up the wreath is fussy cut to exactly follow the contours of the heart shape.
A "Triple Irish Chain" handmade baby quilt with beautiful feathered wreath machine quilting in the white center squares.
