A dozen large ladybugs wiggle and crawl all over this adorable handmade baby quilt while hundreds more play hide-and-seek in the green grass and clover designer novelty print surrounding the quilt. Each of the large ladybugs are appliqued onto the quilt, randomly placed to make each quilt totally unique. The bodies, wings, and heads are a turned applique while the spots on the wings are button-hole stitched. Over the entire quilt in 100% cotton verigated mint, emerald, and forest green thread is a whimsical free motion quilting design in lood-de-loops, reminiscent of the paths these ladybugs are crawling! Surrounding the quilt is a lovely hand sewn binding in bright red while more of the ladybug and clover novelty print covers the back.
