Sunshine and Flowers Baby Quilt

Bring a bright summer's day to your baby with this vibrant girl's baby quilt. Five different jewel tone batiks make up the petals of the flowers and a beautiful hand-dyed batik is in the center. Based on the traditional quilt pattern "Dresden Plate", each flower is machine appliqued onto the solid white background fabric. Surrounding the large flowers is the "sunshine" - a gorgeous batik fabric that inspired the design of the quilt. It's printed flowers have the same colors as the four central flowers and the yellow and orange background make the flowers just "pop"! Over the whole quilt is beautiful machine quilting in intricate loops and whorls in a solid white and a lovely variegated golden orange 100% cotton thread.
